Whole Life Coaching

  • A Whole Life Coaching relationship focuses on you, what you want in your life, and on what will help you achieve it.

    Here we uncover your commitments, values, and life purpose and chart where these guideposts are being honoured and where they are being ignored.

    This information will illuminate the range of your effectiveness and what behaviors may need shifting to align with who you really are.

  • An integral part of this coaching alliance is establishing breakthrough goals with you and identifying actions, plans, and commitment levels for these goals.

    We also look at providing structure and accountability for the completion of these goals.

    Frequently, fears, judgments, and stories will keep you playing small; we investigate what stops you from choosing the life and impact you want to have and design ways to move beyond these patterns.


Leadership Development Coaching

  • The purpose of a Leadership Development Coaching relationship is for you to have both a career and a life that stretches and satisfies you.

    As a leader, you are responsible for a variety of goals, results, and relationships. You also constantly face obstacles to managing and producing these effectively.

    A Leadership Development coaching relationship not only includes whole life coaching but also focuses on your power and impact as a leader.

  • Here, there is more attention on how your personal commitments and values connect to your organization’s vision.

    We also look at the business results you are responsible for producing and what might be possible as a breakthrough for you. For instance, how do you “show up” for others, what is your relationship to breakdowns, what is your “automatic listening” for yourself and others, what is your ability to inspire people, and what leadership capabilities do you want to step into?


Team Coaching

  • The initial intake session focuses on the common goals of the group and the outcomes they desire from the coaching work and it also involves specific goals and outcomes for each team member.
  • Frequently, team members have individual coaching relationships in addition to the overall team coaching. In this way teams and individual are supported in being as powerful and productive as possible.


Group Coaching

  • Group coaching is often done through teleconferencing over the phone. Sessions might last one to two hours and take place once a week. Or calls might last thirty minutes and take place at the same time every morning five days a week.
  • There is enormous focus and action in group telecoaching—especially when the group meets daily.
  • The agenda for the call is typically preset with time for each person to report on accountability, report successes and failures, invite group brainstorming or discussion, look for individual learning, create assignments for the next call, and so on.

The Fundamentals

The Co-Active Approach includes a designed alliance between the coach and client; who are partners and active collaborators in forwarding and enhancing the client’s lifelong process of learning, effectiveness, and fulfillment. This approach is based on the fundamental principles that as a client:

  • You are resourceful, whole, and powerful
  • You have profound contributions to make
  • You can “unlearn” the limits of the past
  • You can initiate extraordinary actions that create the future you envision

Designing the Alliance

  • Coaching is an ongoing relationship; it can span a few months or several years.
  • While appointments are available in-person, most clients prefer the convenience of telephone coaching sessions.
  • Coaching begins with an initial three to four-hour intake session to design an alliance that meets your needs.
  • Coaching continues with regular conversations. A typical coaching arrangement consists of four forty-five minute calls per month, one each week.
  • Depending on your needs and schedule, we will design a partnership that will work for you.
